The presentation of the new Spring Summer collection 2022 «The Poet’s Garden» took place in the designer's new atelier

In the square of Agia Irini, in a lovely bauhaus apartment, designed by award-winning architect Costas Gouzelis, in the historical center of Athens, is now hosted the atelier of designer Evi Grindela, which has been identified with the iconic shirt dresses, that upgrade women's style from morning to night.

Drawing inspiration from the new Spring Summer collection 2022, with Title «The Poet’s Garden», which is an ode to flowers and all time classic patterns, like stripes, plaid and floral, the atelier was decorated with rare and beautiful flowers from Eiko Flowers and unique peonies from Just Flowers.

The romantic, the Parisian setting of the atelier was uniquely completed with the haute patisserie creations from fresh that gave a sweet note to the evening.

Πέρα από τη νέα συλλογή, οι καλεσμένοι είχαν την ευκαιρία να δουν από κοντά διαχρονικά κομμάτια παλαιότερων συλλογών, απολαμβάνοντας παράλληλα το ελληνικό, low alcohol wine spritzer Peleano, στη ροζέ και λευκή εκδοχή του.

Telling in «The Poet’s Garden»:

Stripes and Florals, an unusual paring. The Evi Grintela woman explores botanical gardens, phytology with checks inspired by 60’s picnic culture bringing to life our gardening theme. We walked in flower gardens of mimosas, lilies, violets, and anemones. We flipped through botany books studying the antique botanical hand drawn posters with colors and leaves of Agrimonia, Aquilegia, Lunaria and Addisonia.

We ran to the Greek fields picking healing herbs such as thyme, rosemary, lavender, and chamomile. All this printed on airy cotton voile and fine poplin creating the characteristic prints of this year’s collection bearing the Grintela signature. Fluid shirtdresses that recall childhood memories, fragile innocence and other times in lines borrowing details from shirts of other eras.

Beyond the imaginative patterns that the designer loves, such as stripes and checks, in this collection floral motifs are the star, designed exclusively for the brand in Como, Italy, which are uniquely highlighted through cool dresses, shirts in a classic and cool-light line, shirt matching sets, as well as straw summer bags for morning appearances.

Evi Grintela's airy cotton voile creations, fine poplin and lace marry with custom made prints and stripes and exude femininity and confidence in every look.
