If you have light skin, the Gharing proposes to look for colors that have as their basis the purple and red wine.

Medium-tanned skin
A deep plum look great on medium or tanned skin. To make your dark lipstick shine, make sure that the make-up gives you complete, net coverage. You want to avoid redness that could distract from your lips. also, if your lips are chapped from the cold, a glossy finish could cover the cracked surface. As for the lip pencil, no need to fill the whole lips, just use it to give better shape or to make them appear fuller.

For those you have quite dark skin, you can choose the color of blackberries. To add an extra dimension, dab a very small amount of black eye shadow in the center of the lips. It will add a nice touch, which will conflict with your dark complexion.
