Lil Nas X will take a look behind the curtain in the new documentary 'Long Live Montero’
The new project, which follows the pop star on his first world tour, will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September
Sure, Lil Nas X may be known for his love of trolling fans and haters alike.. But with his latest announcement, the pop sensation is ready to show everyone a more honest side of herself.

Lil Nas X brings 'Old Town Road' to Toronto. The Grammy-winning musician is the focus of the documentary 'Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero», which was filmed during his first tour. The documentary will make its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) of 2023 as part of the Gala.
According to the official synopsis, the film is a “portrait of an artist navigating identity, the family, expectations and acceptance, all while pondering his place in black heritage, queer performers". The film was shot during 60 days of the artist's "Long Live Montero" tour.
"Long Live Montero" is co-directed by Carlos Lopez Estrada and Jacques Manuel.
