Christian Dior & John Galliano -15 Years of Creations: Dior clothes and accessories from the Galliano era are sold at auction

Fashion fans everywhere can now seize the opportunity to pick up Dior clothing and accessories from the famous John Galliano era.

More than 500 vintage pieces from Galliano's tenure as head creative from 1996 until the 2011 sold by the Paris auction house, Cornette de Saint Cyr.
The 300 creations are donated by a Russian woman, which collected haute couture clothes designed by Galliano since his debut, in its Autumn 1997.

These special creations include a black evening dress inspired by the Chinese "cheongsam" which appeared in his first collection with Dior and his coat with a red python belt. 2005.

At the auction, held today sold more than 100 bags, some of which are classic, Lady Dior, Gaucho, Malice and Cadillac. Four timeless saddle bags, like one lined with jeans and embroidered with butterflies in the colors of the rainbow, are also available for auction alongside the iconic SS06 pieces with newspaper designs.

Iber Felbak, director of the luxury and vintage department of the Cornett de Saint Cyr, stated on wwd. "The auction is very representative of the evolution of Galliano's style at Dior".
The prices for the accessories reach 36 dollars for exclusive clothing and accessories up to 2.720 dollars.
