Angela Missoni is stepping down as creative director after 24 years at the Missoni fashion house founded by her parents, Otavio and Rosita.
Angela Missoni, 62 years, announced its decision in an interview with the BoF last week, noting that the appointment of a new CEO during the pandemic and the role of private equity in supporting the fashion house gave her "confidence to make the move".
Design Director Alberto Caliri, who has worked with Missoni for 15 years, will assume its role for a temporary period.
"My parents discovered a new language in fashion," said Angela Missoni. "And I think the latter 25 years I managed to expand the vocabulary of this language ".
