We requested and voted for the specialization of state care for island regions within the framework of the constitutional review!
We have insisted and will continue to insist on the issue of restoring the reduced VAT rates to our islands and abolishing the interconnection of its special interconnection regime with the 5 islands affected by immigration.
We defend with specific positions the solution of the immigrant/refugee problem that plagues our islands and has turned them into warehouses of souls as there was no rational management of the problem from the beginning.
As PASOK we established the National Health System (YOU) and we claim an Island Health System as health is the main priority of our islanders.
At the heart of our policies we have the small and middle class and the workers who unfortunately continue to pay the 'marble' as there are no incentives and policies for the recovery and relief of these social strata.
Much more could be said about the problems facing our islands (eg absence of public interest infrastructure integration, connectivity and accessibility issues, imbalance between production sectors with the monoculture of tourism, the lack of doctors and teachers on the islands, Ms. ).
But words are unnecessary. Because only with actions can we defend island Greece!!
