4 easy ways, so they don't turn black, the sliced apples!!

The apple, is the ideal healthy snack!! The problems start when
this yummy fruit is starting to turn black, shortly after cleaning and the
cutting it, acquiring an unsightly appearance!!……

And if you're wondering what's wrong:
The apples (like many other fruits) when we clean and cut them, they oxidize due to their exposure to air, causing them to tan very quickly. This,
sure, it does not mean that they spoil or change their taste, as the
tanning is a normal reaction of them (enzymatic tarnishing).

As for the solutions, they are simple and very practical:

1. Soak your sliced apples in a bowl of cold water and lemon juice. Mix
1 tablespoon of lemon juice per 1 cup of water. Citric acid
contained in lemon helps prevent oxidation.
2. Alternatively, you can use pineapple juice, lime juice or a mix of lemon juice and pineapple. Use 1 tablespoon of lemon juice for every cup of pineapple juice.
3. A lot, sure, they are also the ones who let them soak in plain carbonated water.Put them in the fridge and they will keep until you serve them to your guests.
4. If you want to keep them for a longer period of time
(eg a week), after soaking, drain them of excess liquid
and store them in a Ziploc bag in the refrigerator.
Their storage time can vary depending on the type and how fresh your apples are.
