Lifesaving advice, for the safety of women on the road!!

prevent or prevent offending behavior against them and minimize opportunities to become victims of a criminal act.

Instructions in case of bag grabbing

• Avoid transferring large sums of money.
• You walk on the inner side of the sidewalk and always keep your bag closed and facing the wall.
• Do not hesitate to call for help by shouting, if someone attacks you to take your bag.
• If you can't resist and hold the bag, consider that your health and physical integrity are more valuable goods.
• Try to contain the characteristics of the attacker and the vehicle, if such has been used.
• Protect your bags and wallet well in crowded places.
• Report the incident to the Police.

Security at home

• The area outside the main entrance of your residence should be properly lit so that there are no dark shadows where someone could hide.
• Make sure the main door has a peephole so you can see who is at your door before you open.
• Keep the curtains closed, so people can't see inside your house, especially at night.
• Do not enter an elevator with someone you do not know.
• If you do make sure to stay close to the elevator door and within range of the control panel.

When you are away from home alone

• Always have someone you know know exactly where you are, so that in case of emergency if someone has to call for help, to know the exact position.
• Never accept a ride from a stranger and never auto-stop.
• When you enter your car, already hold the key in your hand, so you don't waste time looking for the key.
• When you walk down the street
• Be confident and proactive.
• Be sure to stay away from narrow alleys or dark streets.
• After sunset, if it is necessary to move on foot in dark areas, make sure to be extra careful.

At social events

• Don't accept drinks from strangers. Even if you know the person, it is better to ask the waiter or barman for drinks that are closed, such as beer etc.
• If you have left your drink unattended for even half a minute do not take another sip of that drink.
