But our beauty routine also enters the daily rhythms and we have autumn and cold winter ahead of us. With small and easy "tricks" let's prepare for the change of seasons.

Skin
The air temperature changes day by day and the north wind causes dryness and cracks in the skin and we need to provide it with extra hydration. Look for pumpkin in a good greengrocer or supermarket to make a handmade mask.

Hair
Sea salt, pool chlorine and the sun have taken a toll on our hair by stripping the natural oils from both the hair and scalp.

The old traditional mask with olive oil is what, what's the best thing you can do for your hair this season while a more "modern" Indian variation suggests using coconut oil instead of olive oil for a super moisturizing hair mask.
Nails
Fingernails are also tired from the summer holidays. Exposed for hours to the saltiness of the sea, sun and sand are very likely to crack and break easily.

Moisturize your nails and hands with a good natural moisturizer like sesame oil. In 1-2 spoons if you want add a few drops of tea tree oil to keep the fungus away from your fingers and nails.
Also avoid nail polishes that dry too quickly as they may contain isopropyl alcohol which makes nails more prone to breaking.
eyes
Irritations, conjunctivitis and other bothersome symptoms may be some of the "souvenirs" you brought back. The ancient Indian art of Ayurveda recommends eye washes with mistletoe extract. So if you can find mistletoe leaves, boil them and give a good wash to the eyes.

Fill a wide cup and put each of your eyes in it. Open the eyelids to wash the inside of the eyes as well. After washing, your vision may be a little blurry for a few minutes so it's best to do this treatment at night, before sleep.
Body
Even though you put the hot shorts and mini dresses aside, for the sake of long pants and dresses because of work, this does not mean that you will leave your skin – and especially that of the feet- without grooming.

The weather is perfect for exfoliation!!
So take advantage of the beneficial properties of pumpkin once again by mixing ½ cup of boiled pumpkin with ½ cup of brown sugar and creating a natural moisturizing scrub. Apply it on your body in light circular motions. Then rinse with lukewarm water.
