DEDDIE, on the occasion of the announced GENOP/PPC strike action, which may cause possible power outages, informs…….
for the following:
-It draws attention to consumers to avoid the use of elevators throughout the strike mobilizations, in order to avoid the possibility of their entrapment.
-Alongside, for security reasons, everyone should know that electrification it can come back at any time and regardless of the indicative program of cuts and therefore the electrical installations should be considered constantly "under voltage".
-Consumers too they should not consider "inactive" electrical appliances due to power outages, in the event that these are connected to their electrical installation, as the restoration of power may take place earlier than the indicative schedule of the cut schedule. Additionally for security reasons, it would be better if they were disconnected, as the occurrence of overvoltages during power restoration is possible.
-Especially for people who need it mechanical support, the DEDDIE recommends that they immediately visit the nearest hospital in their area, otherwise contact their local fault center, to the telephone numbers listed on the electricity bill.
-Alongside, DEDDIE appeals to all consumers, to limit to minimum possible, the use of energy-intensive electrical devices, especially during peak demand hours, i.e. from 11:00 until 16:00 and from 20:00 until 22:00.
